Calibrate Color Sensor on a ZXP Series 7

If you are having problems printing with your Zebra ZXP Series 7 printer, you may have an issue with your ribbon sensors.

How to Calibrate the Ribbon Sensor

1. Go into the ZXP 7 toolbox and select the Printer Settings tab. Select the Advanced Settings button in the bottom right hand corner. The Password is ZebraZXPS7 (case sensitive).
2. Select the Diagnostics tab and under the Calibration section select the tricolor command. Press Run, but make sure you remove the ribbon before performing the calibration.

Your sensor should now be calibrated and your printer should be printing. If you continue to experience problems, please contact AlphaCard technical support.
