How to Resolve a Card Jam in a ZXP Series 1

If your cards keep jamming when you try to print with your Zebra ZXP Series 1 printer, there are several steps you can take to resolve the issue.

How to Resolve Card Jams

1. Update your printer’s drivers and firmware to the newest versions. Download the ZXP Series 1 drivers and firmware from the Zebra website.
2. Clean your printer. Regularly cleaning the printer will keep out dust and debris, which can damage the print head. Watch the ZXP Series 1 cleaning video.
3. Ensure that you are using the correct power supply (each printer comes with a power supply). Also make sure that the printer is not plugged into a surge protector.
4. Finally, ensure your cards are not CR-79 sized, which can cause problems.
