How to Adjust the Print Head Power on a DTC4500

If your Fargo DTC4500 printer is having problems printing properly, such as breaking ribbons or printing images too dark or light, you may need to adjust the print head power.

Please Note: The Fargo DTC4500 has been discontinued by the manufacturer. If you need a new printer, the AlphaCard System Selector can help you find the best printer for your needs.

How to Adjust the Print Head Power

1. Go to your Devices and Printers folder.
2. Right click on the Fargo DTC4500, and choose Printing Preferences.
3. Click on the Image Color tab, and then adjust the slider bar for Dye-Sub Intensity (YMC).
4. Click Ok to save these changes.
