Privacy Statement
At AlphaCard, we take your privacy very seriously. While the nature of online business requires that we gather certain types of information from our customers, we can assure you that your information is safe and secure, and never shared with a third party. What information does AlphaCard collect and why?
When you create an account with AlphaCard, you are asked to fill in certain data fields. This account data (which includes your name, email address, and password) simply serves to help us identify returning customers when we’re dealing with transactions, shipments, and other necessary communications.
When you place an order online at AlphaCard.com, we will ask for your billing information and credit card number. This information is sent over a protected channel using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption, making it unreadable as it travels over the internet. We use the transaction data to bill you for the items purchased, and to fulfill your order.
We will not share your information
All customer information is stored on a high-security server that cannot be accessed over the internet. It is our promise to you that we will never sell or share your information. Any information you provide to AlphaCard is used solely for service and support purposes.
Live Webchat
We utilize a live webchat service provided by a third-party vendor, known as LiveChat, which may be updated from time to time. Barcodes, Inc. (“Barcodes”) collects, uses, stores, shares, discloses, and protects your personal information in accordance with the terms of this Privacy and Security Policy. The data Barcodes stores from our customers is strictly for our use and may potentially be visible to our third-party vendor. Personal information can include operator names and emails, visitor names and emails, visitor phone numbers, email addresses, IP addresses, and the content of the chat. We may also use cookies and local storage on Barcode’s servers to help provide site history of website visitors. Because third party software is used, personal information may also be visible to LiveChat. LiveChat collects, uses, stores, shares, discloses, and protects customer Personal Information in accordance with the LiveChat’s privacy policy, located at the following link: https://www.livechat.com/legal/privacy-policy. Customer’s use of the chat feature is consent to these uses and disclosures.
