Fixing Dual Sided Printing Issues in Professional

Since most schools use dual sided card designs to get the most information possible onto the cards, making sure that your design prints correctly onto both sides of the card is incredibly important.

Please Note: These troubleshooting steps are to fix dual sided printing issues within AlphaCard School ID Professional only. If you are having issues after all the settings are correct it could be an issue with the printer itself, and we strongly recommend checking with either the manufacturer of the printer, or the company it was purchased from, for additional troubleshooting assistance.

1. To begin, go to the Configuration tab.
2. Click on Template Designer.
3. Click on the Page Layout tab.
4. The front side of the card should have Printable checked, and no other boxes.
5. The back of the card should have Printable and Backside checked.

These settings should tell the printer to print the front, and then flip the card and print the back. If neither side is designated as backside, or both are, the program will send two separate documents instead.
