How to Resolve a Card Jam in a Quantum 2

If your cards keep jamming when you try to print with your Evolis Quantum printer, there are several steps you can take to resolve the issue.

How to Resolve Card Jams

1. Update your printer’s drivers and firmware to the newest versions.
2. Clean your printer. Regularly cleaning the printer will keep out dust and debris, which can damage the print head. Watch the video on how to clean your printer.
3. Make sure your cards are properly loaded into the printer. Watch the video on how to load cards.
4. Try different cards.
5. Make sure you are not using CR79 sized cards.
6. Ensure that you are using the correct power supply (each printer comes with a power supply). Also make sure that the printer is not plugged into a surge protector.
