Setting Up Events in Standard

AlphaCard Visitor Pass allows you to set your event creation defaults, making it quick and easy to set up events. This is especially helpful if all of your events include similar or identical details.

Setting Event Defaults

  1. Click on the Configuration tab.
  2. Click on Advanced Options.
  3. Click on the Events tab.

From the Events tab you can edit your event default settings.

  • Default Event Start Date Interval allows you to set the time delay between your current time and default event start time
  • Default Event End Date Interval allows you to set the default time between event start and event end
  • Default Early Check-in Date Interval allows you to set how much before the event start time visitors can check in
  • Default Badge Expiration Date Interval allows you to set how long after the end time the badges expire
  • Default Event Organizer allows you to set a specific person as the event organizer so they receive emails and other notifications
  • Confirm Incidental Check-ins For allows you to confirm if the check in is for a specific event, or for a general check in
  • Deny Incidental Check-ins To can set that only visitors assigned to an event can check in.
  • Require Badge Expiration Dates For allows you to force badge expiration for either event invitees only, or for all check ins
  • Enable Event Selection at Check-in Time allows you to select from all applicable events on checking in a visitor
