How to resolve Mechanical Error on P330i

If your P330i card printer is displaying a mechanical error , take the following steps.

Please Note: The Zebra P330i has been discontinued by the manufacturer. If you need a new printer, the AlphaCard System Selector can help you find the best printer for your needs.

Resolving Mechanical Error

  1. Update your printer driver and firmware to the latest
  2. Check that you are using the correct card type
  3. Ensure that two cards are not being fed into the printer
  4. Check that there is not a card stuck inside printer and the ribbon is not broken.
  5. Run a cleaning cycle.
