How to Resolve a Card Jam in a Pronto

If your cards keep jamming when you try to print with your Magicard Pronto printer, there are several steps you can take to resolve the issue.

How to Resolve Card Jams

1. Update your printer’s drivers and firmware to the newest versions. Download the Pronto drivers from the Magicard website.
2. Clean your printer. Regularly cleaning the printer will keep out dust and debris, which can damage the print head. Watch the Pronto cleaning video.
3. Ensure that you are using the correct Sunpower brand power supply (each printer comes with a power supply). Also make sure that the printer is not plugged into a surge protector.
4. Finally, ensure your cards are not CR-79 sized, which can cause problems.
