What are Key Tags?

Key tags are quite common in the ID card industry, due to their ease of use and convenience. Available in two sizes, key tags are incredibly popular for such ID applications as membership and loyalty card programs. Most key tags are one of two dimensions: 2.875” x 1.0625” (2-up cards) or 1.100” x 2.125” (3-up cards). The size of these cards is perfect for affixing to your car keys or key chain to ensure you never forget your key tag.

One thing to note when you are printing key tag cards – you cannot print cards individually. You need to put the entire group of connected cards through the printer and break them apart after printing; you cannot print the individual small key tags.

Are Key Tags the Right fit for my Organization?

They are an ideal complement to wallet-sized cards, as the customer or member is typically issued a standard CR80 card and the key tag-sized card for using when on-the-go.
