This versatile card printer creates sharp, photo-quality images and offers numerous encoding options for ID cards that are functional as well as handsome. The P430i produces 102 full-color, two-sided cards per hour, and if you choose to buy an optional encoder, both printing and encoding take place in one pass. If a card fails to encode correctly, it falls into the reject hopper so that you don't distribute faulty cards. This model contains Ethernet networking, so that you can allow multiple users to print from anywhere on a network. You may keep your P430i in a secure location, however, so that only authorized users may access the cards. With the Ethernet networking feature, you will never have to worry about one specific computer or person being tied up when you need to print.

If you want to augment your cards with magnetic stripes or smart cards, Zebra offers encoding modules for both.
