HID 1336 DuoProx II PVC Magnetic Stripe Prox Cards

Overview

HID is the leading manufacturer of proximity cards, with access control systems in use at businesses around the world. HID prox cards are compatible with all HID proximity card readers.

DuoProx II Cards

DuoProx II cards are made from white PVC and are designed to be printed on, making it easy to customize these cards into employee ID badges, staff ID cards, student IDs, security passes, and more. These access control cards are programmed for 125 kHz proximity systems.

Each card has a HiCo magnetic stripe (magnetic stripes do not come programmed) to store additional information, making these cards ideal for schools, hospitals, businesses, and any organization looking for multifunctional prox cards.

Ordering Information

Important Information to Know when Ordering Prox Cards

• Your card format – this is most commonly HID Compatible 26 bit (H10301)
• Your facility code – this will be on the box your current cards came in, and is a number between 0 and 255
• Your sequence start number – every prox card has a unique sequence number (numbers are between 0 and 65,435) and numbers cannot be repeated, your new card order should start on the next number in the sequence. This will also be on your box.

Keep in mind when ordering HID prox cards:

• Minimum order quantity: 100 cards
• Average lead time: 2-3 weeks
• Please note that any customization may impact the order processing time. For a faster turnaround time, consider ordering AlphaPass prox cards instead.
• HID prox cards are not eligible for returns – please contact AlphaCard sales with any questions.

Printing and Customization

Customize your prox cards for use as employee IDs, staff ID cards, security passes, and more. By default, the cards will have a small brand logo and reference number printed in the lower left-hand corner.

Printing Options:

• Ordering Pre-Printed Cards: If you do not want to print your cards in-house, order them professionally printed. Minimum order quantity of 500 cards with an additional lead time.
• Printing In-House: Print on-demand with an ID card printer. Recommended to use reverse transfer ID card printers for HID cards.

Slot Punch Options

To use the cards with accessories like lanyards or badge reels, you will need to slot punch them.

Slot Punching Options:

• Ordering Cards Pre-Punched: Choose from vertical or horizontal punches. Not recommended if you plan to print on the cards in-house.
• Slot Punching In-House: If you choose to punch the cards yourself, ensure to follow the punch mark guides.

To use your HID proximity cards, you'll need a compatible card reader. Compatible readers include:
