HoloKote is a standard feature on all Magicard printers which produces a holographic overlay across the entire face of an ID card. HoloKote requires no special supplies or resources; It simply utilizes the overlay or “O” portion of a YMCKO ribbon. In addition to being a cost-free security feature, HoloKote also helps protect against scratches, tampering and fading. HoloKote helps prevent illicit duplication and increases card durability. Four patterns are available: gloves, waves, rings and keys. For truly unique HoloPatch cards, the HoloKote Key transposes a graphic or logo into a custom watermark.
