Fargo PolyGuard 1mil clear smart card overlaminate film. The smart card chip cutout prevents your printer from laminating over the chip. Lamination protects your cards from daily wear and tear and deters card tampering. This film is a no-waste design - when you're done, only the single core will be left, reducing your ID card program's waste.

For use with Fargo DTC4500e (may require firmware upgrade) and Fargo DCT5500LMX laminating ID card printers.

Fargo's PolyGuard lamination material is a secure, tamper-resistant overlaminate. PolyGuard provides superior durability - far exceeding the lamination capabilities of other card printers. Independent tests have shown cards printed with PolyGuard can withstand 50,000 swipes through a magnetic stripe reader before showing signs of wear, while competitive cards begin to show wear after only 300 swipes.

PolyGuard is ideal for applications which require a long, highly secure card life.
