The Evolis Dualys 3 is a fast, versatile and cost-effective dual-sided printer for high-quality ID card issuance. It expands on previous Dualys models by offering a number of new exciting features including an updated CPU and print head for enhanced image quality and definition, as well as a "Color Profile" feature which allows the user to see on screen colors that accurately match those which are printed.

A highly advanced print engine allows the Dualys 3 to produce high-definition ID badges in mere seconds. Actual speed depends on card design and printer specifications (dual-sided cards, for instance, can be printed at a rate of 125 cards/hour in color). The color printing module utilizes a 300 dpi print head and operates using color dye sublimation and monochrome thermal transfer technology for dual-sided edge-to-edge printing.

One of the greatest benefits of the Dualys 3 is its versatility in terms of providing a variety of security and encoding options to choose from when creating custom ID cards. The Dualys 3 offers options for magnetic stripe encoding, and both contact smart chip and contactless (RFID) smart card encoding.
