AlphaCard ID Suite Printer Server

AlphaCard ID Suite Print Server is designed for organizations that use multiple work stations and ID card printers to design and print ID cards by bundling five software licenses together to easy installation. When installed on a network server, Print Server allows you to connect up to five ID card printers, making it easier to print large volumes of cards quickly.

Print Server must be used with an AlphaCard ID Suite Business Server Edition. Business Server is available for Standard, Professional, or Elite Editions only. Standard Edition is designed for medium to large organizations printing basic, secure cards. Professional Edition gives you more flexibility connecting external databases with MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle, ODBC/OLE connectivity. Elite Edition includes advanced security features and multiple external database connections.

When using the Business Server, users can either share one central database with all the cardholder information or have individual databases saved locally on each computer. All users will have access to the connected ID card printers.

System Requirements

AlphaCard ID Suite Print Server is compatible with all PVC card printers. AlphaCard ID Suite is not currently supported on Tablets or Surfaces. System requirements: 32 or 64 bit Windows Operating System (Windows XP, Vista, 7, or 8), Server Operating System (Windows 2003 Server, 2005 Server, 2008 R2 Server, 2012 Server, or Citrix and Terminal Systems), Explorer 6 or higher, Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0, dual core processor, 1024 MB of free internal memory, 200 MB of free disk space, and an internet connection for automatic activation and online help files.

Note: AlphaCard ID Suite Print Server comes with five licenses only. Additional licenses can be purchased in bundles of five. The Print Server Edition allows the software to be installed on an unlimited number of computers and used on five computers concurrently.
