Signature panel ribbons allow you to print a semi-opaque signature panel on the back of your ID cards. Signature panels increase security by allowing cardholders to sign the back of their cards.

To use signature panel ribbons, ID cards must first be printed with a standard YMCKO or monochrome ribbon to apply the text and graphics to the card. The YMCKO or monochrome ribbon is then replaced with the signature panel ribbon and the card layout must be changed in order for the signature panel to be printed in the right place. Cards are then run through the printer in a second pass to apply the signature panel.
