User-Friendly Modular DesignWith so many options, it's easy to customize the Smart-51 to meet your organization's specific needs. This allows you to get only the features you need without paying for expensive upgrades you may not use.
The base model comes as a single-sided, USB, non-encoding printer but you can choose to add dual-sided printing, Ethernet, and even lamination.
Convenient Batch PrintingThe Smart-51 ID card printer comes with a 100-card input hopper and a 40-card output hopper, so you can quickly and easily print small to mid-sized batches of cards without having to stop frequently to load new cards. If you need to print a card or two, there's also an option to hand-feed single cards.
And with fast print speeds, batch printing will take only minutes - you can print full-color cards in only 17 seconds per card (a one-second improvement over the Smart-50). For monochrome cards, it will take five seconds, and for dual-sided full-color cards (black on the back) it only takes 22 seconds.
