Visual & Data Security with the Magicard 300
Magicard printers are known for their HoloKote and Custom HoloKote technology, which adds a holographic watermark-like image over your cards. HoloKote has two benefits – this makes it easier to spot unauthorized duplicates of cards and makes it easier to spot cards that have been tampered with because they won’t have the HoloKote design, or will have ruined the HoloKote design.
With the Magicard 300 printer you can choose from three standard HoloKote designs that come pre-loaded into the printer driver. Or you can design your own Custom HoloKote with a design unique to your organization (the 300 can support up to three Custom HoloKote designs).
In addition to providing visual card security, the Magicard 300 also protects your card program data with new digital shredding!
When you send a print job to your printer, it creates a digital record of that data – new digital shredding will fragment that data after the card is printed, preventing unauthorized people from accessing the data.
