Fargo recently revealed the latest addition to their card printing line with the introduction of the HDP8500 Industrial Card Printer/Encoder. Designed as a card printing solution for organizations requiring large-volume performance and high-security, the HDP8500 is ideal for government ID programs, high-volume service bureau organizations, universities, and large companies.

The new Fargo printer has a 400-card total input capacity. When combined with the graphical touch screen interface, the printer requires little user intervention to produce a large batch of cards at once. The HDP8500 uses Fargo’s fifth generation of High Definition Printing technology to produce high-quality cards.
The HDP8500 is built to withstand heavy use and comes with a host of security features including operator PIN number access and multi-locking entry points. Further protection from card fraud is included with AES 256 bit data encryption, resin ribbon data-erase functionality, and secure holographic lamination.
