What makes the ZXP Series 8 so special? Speed. Compared to other high-definition card printers on the market, the ZXP Series 8 is capable of providing bet-in-class throughout. The printer produces up to 190 single-sided ID cards per hour, while the duplex model can print up to 170 dual-sided cards per hour. This makes the Zebra ZXP Series 8 ideal for high-volume card programs that need to print large amounts of cards on demand.
The ZXP Series 8 uses an innovative retransfer printing process that produces photo-like images with exceptional print resolution. This process is also the preferred method for printing on cards with uneven surfaces, for instance technology cards with embedded electronics.
With its unique modular design, the Zebra ZXP Series 8 is truly a future-proof card-printing solution. Users can add upgrade modules for magnetic stripe or smart card encoding down the road if their ID program grows to require additional card functionality.
