HID Global was on hand at this week’s IFSEC Global Security Conference showing off the company’s latest access control innovations along with a fresh batch of Fargo Direct-to-Card printers. In addition to demonstrating its product portfolio, HID offered up a presentation on the benefits of multi-application smart card technology.

HID products on display at IFSEC included Fargo’s new lineup of DTC card printers, HID multiCLASS Magnetic Stripe readers, and Genuine HID technology cards, along with examples of integrated solutions featuring HID technology and third-party developers.
The HID multiCLASS Magnetic Stripe reader line is geared towards users making the transition from magnetic stripe technology to 13.56 MHz smart card technology. These readers support both technologies, allowing for a seamless migration that can support both your future and current setup.
The new family of Fargo Direct-to-Card printers is designed to provide scalable solutions for secure ID printing and encoding. Each card printer model allows for optional field-upgradable modules to meet future requirements. They also operate seamlessly with other HID products and technologies.
