Based in Seattle, WA, Mary’s Place provides homeless women and their children with programs and goods to help them restore their lives. To manage the high volume of women who check in and out of the resource center on a daily basis, Mary’s Place reached out to the AlphaCard Cares Donation Program, a charitable branch of AlphaCard.  After learning more about Mary’s Place and its mission, AlphaCard decided to donate a complete ID card system.

With the new ID card system, Mary’s Place will be able to print photo identification cards for women utilizing the center’s programs.  Brian Wisti, one of the organization’s volunteers, has developed a web-based tool for Mary’s Place that’s designed to store information, monitor check-ins, keep track of incentive points for women who do chores, and make note of any security concerns. Now the platform can be integrated with the new ID card system.

The ID card system donated by AlphaCard includes a printer, digital camera, PVC cards, and ribbon. If you know of a nonprofit who could benefit from a new ID card system, we encourage you to visit our AlphaCard Cares page.
