AlphaCard is not just a leader in ID card solutions; it’s a company that deeply cares about the communities it serves and the organizations that make a world of difference. To exemplify its dedication to community-focused initiatives, AlphaCard started AlphaCard Cares, a charitable arm that donates ID card systems to organizations in need.

NWBANational Wheelchair Basketball Organization (NWBA) recently reached out to AlphaCard Cares to request ID card supplies for its members, volunteers, and staff.  Serving over 2,300 members, the National Wheelchair Basketball Organization is a national sports organization of disabled men and women basketball players who compete against each other in a safe and encouraging environment.

With a limited budget and a staff of only four, an ID card system would be imperative to increasing the level of professionalism within the organization as well as affirming its authority as a reputable sports league. Impressed by NWBA’s mission and vision, AlphaCard Cares donated a complete ID card system to the organization to ensure that every member would have access to a professional member ID card.

AlphaCard’s ID specialists customized a multi-functional ID card system to meet NWBA’s needs.  The system includes an advanced Fargo ID card printer, durable PVC cards, a Logitech ID card camera to capture member photos, and AlphaCard’s own ID Suite software for a flexible card design. Sherrice Fox, the organization’s Program Director, intends to use the new system to issue ID cards to its officers, classifiers, staff and key volunteers who need IDs for tournaments and events.  Members ID cards will display the person’s name, team name, photo, date-of-birth, and classification.
