At ASIS International 2008, HID Global is demonstrating the latest edition of Asure ID’s card design software. Asure ID 2009 is a user-friendly software for card personalization and management. The 2009 edition features a redesigned interface, and is built on the Microsoft .NET technology platform for enhanced interoperability and stability. It incorporates tools that simplify the process of ID badge design, data management, and data entry.

The improved Asure ID interface aims to make the card design process quick and easy. Users can manage multiple card templates, perform fast and accurate data entry, and connect to external data sources.
Another highlight of Asure ID 2009 is its iDIRECTOR feature, which enhances smart card deployment by managing the process of loading multiple functions onto ID cards in a single encoding pass. The software also promises simplified processes for capturing photos and signatures, and previewing card designs before printing.
Asure ID 2009 will be available in four editions: Asure ID Solo 2009, Asure ID Express 2009, Asure ID Enterprise 2009, and Asure ID Exchange 2009.
