The duplex printer comes with built-in Ethernet connectivity, benefiting large, networked environments by allowing multiple users to access the Rio Pro Duo from remote locations. Ideal for employee ID badges, membership cards, customer loyalty cards, and more, the Rio Pro Duo provides a dual-sided printing solution for a wide range of applications.
For easy batch printing, the Rio Pro Duo comes with a 100-card input hopper and a 70-card output hopper. Printer users still have the option for one-off printing with hand feed capability. The printer?s powerful print engines produce full-color cards in 23 seconds per side and monochrome cards in just 6 seconds per side. For ease of use, the Magicard printer has a clear and intuitive 4-line display.
Like all printers in the Magicard family, the Rio Pro Duo is equipped with the HoloKote system and prints a secure watermark across the face of every card at no additional cost. Also supported are the Custom HoloKote Key, which allows users to use their own custom image or text as the watermark, and HoloKote Flex for printing the custom watermark at any size or location across the surface of the card. When the HoloKote system is combined with Magicard HoloPatch cards, one section of the secure HoloKote watermark is highlighted to create a high-visibility security seal.
The Magicard Rio Pro Duo can be configured with a variety of encoding options to produce multifunctional cards for cashless payment, access control, time and attendance tracking and more. Available configurations include magnetic stripe encoding, and contact or contactless smart card encoding.
