The Smart-50L ID card printer comes with a 100 card input hopper and a 40 card output hopper, so you can quickly and easily print small to mid-sized batches of cards without having to stop frequently to load new cards. If you need to print a card or two, there's also an option to hand feed single cards.

And with fast print speeds, batch printing will take only minutes – single-sided full color, single-sided lamination takes only 23 seconds while dual-sided full color cards (black on back) with single-sided lamination will take 33 seconds.

The Smart-50L printer comes with single or dual-sided lamination to add durability to your ID cards by applying a protective coat of laminate which shields you cards from the daily wear and tear of card use.

Along with protecting your cards from the elements, lamination also helps prevent fraudulent card tampering or reproduction. Lamination makes it harder to tamper with the cards because as the lamination film is peeled back the text and images are damaged. You can also use lamination film with holographic images to make your cards easily identifiable.
