A digital key is a security feature of some versions of ID card software like AlphaCard Enterprise. The software gives the user the option to encrypt a digital key into the card design. The key can only be reproduced on your network by an authorized user, protecting your card program against unauthorized duplication. If a card doesn’t contain your specific digital key, you’ll know it’s not a valid ID badge.
