HID 1351 ProxPass II Vehicle Prox Tag

HID is the leading manufacturer of proximity cards, with access control systems in use at businesses around the world. HID prox cards are compatible with all HID proximity card readers.

If you manage a parking lot, parking garage, or underground parking for a building, these HID ProxPass II Vehicle Prox Tags are a quick and easy to way add security to your building. With a read range up to six feet they can easily be read and trigger the garage door or gate to open as an authorized car pulls up to the building.

Each tag comes with a Velcro backing to attach to the interior of your vehicle's windshield. These prox tags use batteries (each tag comes with two batteries) and have a two to five year battery life. Their rugged polycarbonate material is UV and weather-resistant.

Important Information to Know when Ordering Prox Cards

When ordering your HID ProxPass II Vehicle Prox Tags, you will need three key pieces of information:

• Your card format ? this is most commonly HID Compatible 26 bit (H10301)
• Your facility code ? this will be on the box your current cards came in, and is a number between 0 and 255
• Your sequence start number ? every prox card has a unique sequence number (numbers are between 0 and 65,435) and numbers cannot be repeated, your new card order should start on the next number in the sequence. This will also be on your box.

Keep in mind when ordering HID tags:

• Minimum order quantity: 10 cards
• Average lead time: 2-3 weeks

The easiest way to find your card format and facility code is to look at the box your last order came in ? the card information will be printed on a label on the box. It may also be included in your order invoice. If you have access to your access control system, you may also be able to look it there.
