HID 1391 MicroProx Adhesive Tag

HID is the leading manufacturer of proximity cards, with access control systems in use at businesses around the world. HID prox cards are compatible with all HID proximity card readers.

If you are looking for a unique access control system, these HID MicroProx Tags are a great solution ? these small adhesive-backed tags can be stuck on an object to make it into a new access control card. Each disk measures 1.285" (32.6mm) round and 0.07" (1.78mm) thick.

These tags are most often used to convert an employee ID card you already have, or an old prox card, into an access control card. This allows you to keep the cards you've already printed, saving the time and money that goes into printing and issuing new cards. They can also stick to phones, phone cases, and wallets.

Important Information to Know when Ordering Prox Cards

When ordering your HID MicroProx Tags, you will need three key pieces of information:

• Your card format ? this is most commonly HID Compatible 26 bit (H10301)
• Your facility code ? this will be on the box your current cards came in, and is a number between 0 and 255
• Your sequence start number ? every prox card has a unique sequence number (numbers are between 0 and 65,435) and numbers cannot be repeated, your new card order should start on the next number in the sequence. This will also be on your box.

Keep in mind when ordering HID tags:

• Minimum order quantity: 100 cards
• Average lead time: 2-3 weeks

Please note that any customization you do to the cards may impact the order processing time. For a faster turnaround time, consider ordering AlphaPass prox cards instead.

Unsure About Your Card Format or Facility Code?

The easiest way to find your card format and facility code is to look at the box your last order came in ? the card information will be printed on a label on the box. It may also be included in your order invoice. If you have access to your access control system, you may also be able to look it there.

Printing on your MicroProx Tags

You cannot print on HID MicroProx Tags, but you can choose your color and whether you want the card numbers printed on them.

For the front of the disk you can choose from:

• Plain black
• Plain grey
• Black with HID logo
• Grey with HID logo

Compatible Card Readers

To use your HID proximity cards, you'll need a compatible card reader. Compatible readers for this card:

• HID proximity readers
• XceedID proximity readers
• Schlage proximity readers
• aptiQ multi-technology readers
