AlphaCard ID Suite Print Server Manager is specifically designed for large organizations that use multiple work stations and printers by balancing the print load to ensure quick and efficient printing with up to 25 ID card printers. When installed on a network server, the software and printers are easily accessible by multiple users.

The Print Server Manager makes it easy for multiple users to print to multiple ID card printers by gathering all print requests and automatically distributing them to the printers based on the number of print requests and the number of printers available. This will balance the print load and spread it evenly among the pooled printers.

Print Server Manager is designed for large enterprise businesses with up to 25 ID card printers. It is recommended for organizations that need to print thousands of cards per day including large universities that must issue new student and staff ID cards within the first few days of the new school year or businesses with thousands of employees who are issued new ID cards each year.

To use AlphaCard ID Suite Print Server Manager, you must also have AlphaCard ID Suite Print Server and AlphaCard ID Suite Business Server software.

Business Server is only available for the Standard, Professional, and Elite editions:

• AlphaCard ID Suite Standard ? designed for medium to large organizations printing basic, secure cards
• AlphaCard ID Suite Professional ? gives you more flexibility connecting external databases with MS SQL, MySQL, SQLite, Oracle, ODBC/OLE connectivity
• AlphaCard ID Suite Elite ? advanced security features and the ability to connect multiple external databases

Please Note: AlphaCard ID Suite Print Server Manager comes with five licenses. This software edition allows the software to be installed on an unlimited number of computers and used on five computers concurrently. Additional licenses can be purchased in bundles of five to allow the software to be used simultaneously on more than five computers.

When using the Print Server Manager, users can either share one central database with all the cardholder information or have individual databases saved locally on each computer. All users will have access to the networked ID card printers.

System Requirements

AlphaCard ID Suite Print Server Manager is compatible with all PVC card printers. AlphaCard ID Suite is not currently supported on Tablets or Surfaces. Please call with questions regarding compatibility with any hardware platforms not mentioned here.

System requirements32 or 64 bit Windows Operating System (Windows 7, 8, 10), Server Operating System (Windows Server 2008 R2, 2012). Explorer 6 or higher, Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 or higher, dual core processor, 1 GB of free internal memory (32 bit) or 2 GB of free internal memory (64 bit), 200 MB of free disk space, and an internet connection for automatic activation and online help files.
