Purdue University is using a new method for distributing season tickets to students attending football and basketball games. Now students have the convenience of their university ID cards being preloaded with tickets for home games.

Implementing a student ID card ticketing system cuts printing costs and saves time, making it more convenient for administrators and students.
“It’s a money-saving step … the printed ticket really wasn’t necessary anymore,” says George Ade, Purdue’s athletic ticket manager.
If unable to attend a game, students can transfer their ticket to a new owner online. The paperless system is a great option for any university looking to streamline its ticketing services.
