For ID card programs looking for increased card security, we’ve recently added three new photo ID systems featuring the Zebra ZXP Series 8 reverse transfer ID card printer. Designed for speed, the ZXP 8 prints high definition cards twice as fast as other reverse transfer printers on the market.
With true over-the-edge printing, the ZXP 8 offers the ideal print method for printing on technology cards with uneven surfaces such as smart cards and clamshell cards, as well as non-PVC cards made of polycarbonate or biopolymers. Using the unique reverse transfer printing process, images, text, and other design elements are printed on a special film which is fused to the card’s surface.
You can choose between three different photo ID system versions. The Zebra ZXP Series 8 Single Sided ID Card System provides single-sided printing. The Zebra ZXP Series 8 Dual-Sided ID Card System prints dual-sided cards in a single pass. And finally, the Zebra ZXP Series 8 Dual Sided Laminating ID Card System features the dual-sided ZXP 8 and comes with the option for single or dual-sided lamination.
Each system comes with AlphaCard Light ID card software, a basic platform for ID card design and cardholder information management. AlphaCard Light holds up to 200 records in a standalone database. The systems also come with a digital ID camera, poly/PVC composite cards, a color ribbon and transfer film, and a printer cleaning kit.
