Hope Force Case StudyWe recently introduced the AlphaCard Cares program, which celebrates non-profit organizations that are making a difference in their communities. As a part of AlphaCard Cares we partnered with Hope Force International, a disaster relief non-profit, to donate a photo ID system to provide ID badges for their volunteers.

Based in Nashville, Tennessee, Hope Force is an entirely volunteer-based organization that responds to disasters and crises around the world doing everything from rebuilding houses and supplying equipment and tools, to providing emotional and spiritual support to disaster survivors.

One of the main challenges the organization faced was overcoming homeowner mistrust when volunteers would be deployed in a disaster recovery effort. With no identification relating to their role in Hope Force, the volunteers often faced skepticism. Hope Force needed a clear way to indicate a volunteer’s affiliation to help facilitate a trusting relationship with people and communities that had just been affected by a disaster.

AlphaCard stepped in to provide a full photo ID system featuring the Magicard Enduro+ ID card printer, AlphaCard ID software, and badge printing supplies. With the system in place, Hope Force was able to deploy volunteer ID cards to their various volunteer sites around the world.
