AlphaCard is based out of Portland, Oregon, surrounded by forests and natural beauty – and we want to keep it that way. We're stepping up to do our part for the environment by committing to planting a tree for each printer we sell.

As a company, AlphaCard's green values are already in place in our office every day. Wash rags are available to replace paper towels, employees can use one of the many coffee mugs in the kitchen instead of single-use paper cups, and every employee has a recycle bin at their desk in addition to the large recycle bins in the break room to help reduce our waste.

How You Can Help

For every ID card printer you buy from AlphaCard, we will plant a tree through the National Forest Foundation! You won't need to do anything different when placing your order, we'll keep track of all the printers sold.

Each year AlphaCard sells thousands of ID card printers to a wide range of customers in every industry, and you'll be part of helping us plant thousands of trees.

The National Forest Foundation

Chartered by Congress to restore and enhance the National Forests and Grasslands all across the United States, the National Forest Foundation is a non-profit that works to engage Americans in promoting the health and enjoyment of our 193-million-acre National Forest System.

Natural disasters, wildfires, insects, and diseases can harm our forests. Maintaining and restoring these forests are central to keeping National Parks open and welcoming to all visitors. How do trees impact their local environment?

  • They stabilize slopes and improve water quality
  • They create habitats for animals, some of them endangered
  • They help combat climate change and improve air quality

For more information about the National Forest Foundation, or to make an additional donation, visit their website.

Thank you to all our customers for joining us as we plant trees and promote healthy forests for everyone to enjoy.
