Rewritable Cards

Using rewritable cards is an excellent way for companies and organizations to save time, money and resources.  Rewritable cards can be erased and reprinted over and over again, which helps avoid the hassle of constantly reordering supplies.  For organizations particularly concerned with being eco-friendly, rewritable cards significantly reduce waste.

These special cards feature a PVC finish on one side and a rewritable surface on the other.  The cards accept rewritable printing in black.  Rewritable ID card printers do not require a ribbon to customize ID cards and badges.  The cards have thermosensitive material that becomes visible when it is heated and then rapidly cooled.  To erase the material on the card, a lower temperature is applied.  This entire process is facilitated using a special printhead.
