Installing Standard

Before using the software, AlphaCard Visitor Pass must be installed.

AlphaCard Visitor Pass Standard Installation Guide

1. To begin, if you don’t have the installer already, download it from the AlphaCard website.
2. Once the installation starts, it will first ask you for your language. Please select your language, and then click Next.
3. AlphaCard Visitor Pass will extract the installer for later use.
4. The InstallShield Wizard will open. Click Next.
5. Please read and agree to the EULA. Then click Next.
6. Set the User Name and permission level of the program. We recommend leaving these at default. Click Next.
7. Select the Installation Path. We recommend the default Program Files Destination. Click Next.
8. Select the Database Path. This is where all of the data, such as your database and designs, will be located by default. Click Next.
9. Select if you want a typical or Custom install. We recommend Typical Install. Click Next.
10. Click Install to begin the installation process.
11. Allow the install process to go through.
12. Once done, click Finish.
13. Once it is installed, click on the new icon on your desktop to open AlphaCard Visitor Pass.
