How to Use Built In Filters with Standard

Once you have entered all of your visitors into your database, it can be a daunting task to organize the list of people in such a way that you can easily look up a specific record. To help, AlphaCard Visitor Pass comes with a number of Global Filters to find specific subsets of visitors.

Using Filters

To restrict the full list of visitors to an easier to handle subset, you can select the main three options:

  • All Visitors
  • Checked In Visitors
  • Blacklisted Visitors

This allows you to easily move among these major categories.

If you require finer control over how you search for records, you can setup any field in the database as a searchable field. To do so, go to the Configuration tab in the software. Click on the option for Look-up columns. Check any of the columns you would like to search by.

Once these are selected, the search box will search any of the defined fields for the data you are typing in.

Alternatively, if you do not like having to type in information for every guest to look them up, AlphaCard Visitor Pass Standard also allows searching via a barcode.
