How to Adjust the Print Head Power on a DTC4000
If your Fargo DTC4000 printer is having problems printing properly, such as breaking ribbons or printing images too dark or light, you may need to adjust the print head power.
Please Note: The Fargo DTC4000 has been discontinued by the manufacturer. If you need a new printer, the AlphaCard System Selector can help you find the best printer for your needs.
How to Adjust Print Head Power
- Go to your devices and printers folder.
- Right click on the DTC4000.
- Choose printing preferences.
- Click on the Image Color tab.
- Reduce the Dye-Sub Intensity: YMC.
