If you are having issues with your ribbon and getting Ribbon Error 93 when you try to print with your Fargo HDP5000 printer, there are several steps you can take to resolve the issue.

  1. Update your printer’s drivers and firmware to the newest versions.
  2. Go to your devices and printers folder. Right Click on the HDP5000.
  3. Choose printing Preferences.
  4. Click on the Device Options Tab.
  5. Click the Automatically Detect the ribbon option.
