Getting Started – Importing the Starter Templates

As a way to quickly get started using your new AlphaCard ID Suite software, we have developed two Starter Templates that can be easily adapted to create simple badges for your organization.

To begin, download the .ctp card template you want:

• Starter Portrait Template
• Starter Landscape Template

Please Note: The Starter Templates are only importable into AlphaCard ID Suite Standard, Professional and Elite.

Save the files to your computer’s hard drive – do not try to open the files directly.

How to Import the Starter Templates

1. Open your AlphaCard ID Suite software and go to the Configuration tab.
2. Select Import Template.
3. Browse to where you saved the .ctp Starter Template. Then click Open.
4. Click OK to confirm the import.
5. If you are prompted to do so, click Copy and Replace on the copy file dialogue box.

The Starter Template should now be available to select on your screen.
