Alpha Card announces new Fargo E Series ID card printers: Fargo DTC 400e, Persona C30e, and Persona M30e

Portland, OR - Alpha Card Systems is happy to welcome a new generation of ID card printers from Fargo’s E Series product line: the Fargo DTC400e, the Fargo Persona C30e, and the Fargo Persona M30e. Fargo E Series printers offer a host of exciting new features including rewriteable printing, thin card printing, Linux compatibility, improved encoding options, and Ethernet connectivity. Fargo’s latest offerings aim to provide organizations with affordable and versatile ID card solutions that can handle the next wave of card applications.

The Fargo DTC400e is a flexible ID card printer that provides advanced capabilities at a budget-friendly price. The printer is extremely easy to use, and can be upgraded in-field to meet the needs of virtually any photo ID program. One of its more unique features is the ability to print on multiple card types, including standard PVC cards, thin cards, technology cards, and rewriteable cards. The DTC400e can print, erase, and reprint cards with rewriteable surfaces up to 200 times. This process significantly cuts supply costs while also eliminating waste. Rewriteable cards are commonly used for visitor badges, school IDs, and customer loyalty programs. For advanced card applications, the DTC400e offers a variety of encoding technologies. Optional modules for dual-sided printing, magnetic stripe, and smart card encoding can be added in-field. Ethernet connectivity is also available for those operating in a networked environment.

The Persona C30e printer is a cost-effective solution for applications ranging from basic photo IDs to multifunctional smart card programs. It offers options for technology card encoding along with Ethernet connectivity for networked printing operations. Like the DTC400e, the Persona C30e also delivers rewriteable and thin card printing capabilities. Optional modules for dual-sided printing, magnetic stripe encoding, and smart card encoding are field-upgradeable.

Geared towards organizations on a tighter budget, the Fargo Persona M30e is a monochrome card printer that can produce ID cards in one of seven colors. Field-upgradeable encoding modules are available, making the M30e an extremely flexible and powerful option as an entry-level card printer.
