AlphaCard Introduces Innovative Magicard Enduro ID Card Printer
New ID card printer can upgrade in-field from single-sided to dual-sided printing.

Portland, OR - Alpha Card Systems is pleased to announce the release of a new ID card printer from Ultra Magicard. The Magicard Enduro is a powerful and flexible card printer suitable for a wide range of ID card applications, from student identification and membership card programs, to employee badges and more.

What makes the Magicard Enduro unique is its ability to upgrade in-field from single-sided to dual-sided printing. This convenient, cost-saving feature allows the printer to grow with your organization should your ID card program change over time. To enhance the printer’s capabilities, simply install the drop-in upgrade kit and the Enduro automatically reprograms itself to handle duplex card printing.

Other highlights of the Magicard Enduro include fast print speeds, outstanding image quality, and innovative card security features. The Enduro uses thermal transfer and dye-sublimation printing to produce professional ID cards and badges on durable, PVC plastic. Full-color cards are created in only 35 seconds, while it takes just 7 seconds to print a monochrome card. The printer features a 100-card feeder and 30-card stacker for batch printing. Another attribute of the Enduro is its ability to apply Magicard’s patented HoloKote watermark to the card’s surface. HoloKote offers an additional layer of protection that guards your cards against tampering and fraudulent reproduction.

The Magicard Enduro is compact and sturdy, with a sleek design that makes it suitable for any office setting. It offers USB and USB 2.0 connectivity, and supports Windows 2000, 2003 Server, XP, and Vista. An optional magnetic stripe encoder is available for users requiring additional card functionality.
