The Secure HoloKote System comes with the single-sided Magicard Rio Pro, a durable and versatile ID card printer that features a unique HoloKote overlay, a built-in secure watermark system that makes duplication and counterfeiting cards almost impossible. The Rio Pro quickly prints full-color cards with the option of encoding magnetic stripes and contact or contactless smart cards for multipurpose ID cards and badges. In conjunction with AlphaCard software, a photo ID camera, and printing supplies the Secure HoloKote system makes printing attractive, durable and secure ID cards efficient and easy.

The Magicard Rio Pro produces high-quality, edge-to-edge full-color images with every print. Full-color cards are printed in only 23 seconds and monochrome cards are produced in just six seconds. With an intuitive 4-line display, 100-card input hopper and 70-card output hopper the Rio Pro is easy to operate. Dual-sided printing is available as an in-field upgrade and can be added to the printer at any time as the needs of your business or organization grow. This Magicard printer can also be configured with magnetic stripe encoding and contact or contactless smart card encoding.

Magicard’s patented HoloKote secure watermark system ensures that cards cannot be cloned. This special feature prints a high security watermark into the overcoat panel during the print cycle at no additional cost. With the Rio Pro, a Custom HoloKote Key allows users to use their own custom image or text as the watermark. Combined with HoloKote Flex, the custom watermark can be printed at any size or location across the surface of the card. When combined with Magicard HoloPatch cards, one section of the secure HoloKote watermark is highlighted to create a high-visibility security seal.
