Our friends at Magicard have made secure card printing easier and more affordable than ever with a unique technology known as “HoloKote.” Available with almost all Magicard printer models, HoloKote is a secure watermark that you can apply to the surface of each printed card at no extra cost. The watermark is visible when the card is held at an angle, which improves visual authenticity and reduces the risk of fraudulent IDs.
While fixed HoloKote patterns come standard with most Magicard printers, several models, including the Rio, Tango and Tango +L offer a Custom HoloKote Key. This Key holds a custom watermark featuring your own logo or text. The custom watermark is applied to the card face during the regular printing process and increases card security while also giving your cards a more personal, branded feel.
