New VisitorBook ID-e Visitor Management System projects completed in San Diego
VisitorBook ID-e? combines the powerful VisitorBook ? Visitor management software with the ID-eŽ drivers license information reader. Visitors swipe any State issued drivers license through the reader, and their information is captured instantly in the VisitorBook ID-e? Software. No additional data input is necessary; the security desk operator takes a photo and prints a Visitor Badge. Badges can be printed on any printer, from a paper ID card on a Dymo 440 direct thermal printer to PVC ID cards on most PVC Card printers. The process is completed in less than 30 seconds.

A Tour of Richmond?s WWII Historic Sites
The tours start at the headquarters of the Rosie the Riveter park at Richmond City Hall, where participants view some of the historic memorabilia. Among them are ID badges, ration stamps, welder?s guns, and a welder?s mask used by a Japanese-American welder ?until the day he went into an internment camp,? according to park officials.The photo I.D. badges are especially poignant, giving a human face to an era that is close to us in time, but often forgotten. Housed on a single table in the back of the City Hall complex, the items are being collected for a permanent park museum. While the location for the museum has yet to be determined, park officials say that some of the memorabilia in the park?s projected new Visitors Center at the Ford Assembly Plant.

1400 Airport Security Badges and Uniform Items Missing
Transportation Security Administration (TSA) documents reveal more than 1400 TSA employee ID badges and uniform items have been reported lost or stolen since 2003. The documents were obtained by The News 4 WOAI Trouble Shooters under the Freedom of Information Act.

It reports the records document that more than 1,400 TSA employee ID badges and uniform items have been reported lost or stolen since 2003.Los Angeles had the most reports of missing ID badges with 120.

Schenck: U.S. Must Stand Ready to Oppose Human Rights Abuses in Iran
The United States cannot afford to stand by and let history repeat itself, Schenck asserts. If Iran should ever attempt to pass a dress code law that forces non-Muslims to wear ID badges,he feels the church in America should be among the first to oppose it. "It is critical that Christians speak out loudly and immediately to denounce [such a] measure," he says.

Iran's Crazy Colour-Coded Catastrophe
It was only this week, actually, that the laughable (but not at all funny) and not-so-new notion of religious identifiers in a less-than-tolerant atmosphere was brought up again, this time in Iran, where their Parliament passed a new law that would ?force the country's Jews, Christians and other religious minorities to wear color-coded ID badges...[including] a yellow strip of cloth to their [Jews?] clothing,? as well as the fact that ?Christians would wear red badges and Zoroastrians would wear blue ones,? while all people ?got to? don what the law dubbed ?standard Islamic garments,? which I guess means ?a black tent with a panel of additional fabric that covers the face.?
