Iran may force badges on Jews, Christians
TEHRAN, May 19 (UPI) -- Iran's parliament passed a new law this week that would force the country's Jews, Christians and other religious minorities to wear color-coded ID badges. Iranian expatriates confirmed reports the Iranian parliament, or majlis, has approved a law that would require non-Muslims to adhere to a dress code which mandates they wear "standard Islamic garments," according to Canada's National Post.

New government smart ID cards slowly coming along
HSPD-12, signed by President Bush in August 2004, calls for a number of measures to ensure more secure networks and communication across Federal agencies. Among these is a new Personal Identity Verification (PIV)ID card.

Board approves medical marijuana I.D. cards
Senate Bill 420 requires counties to make ID cardsavailable for medical marijuana patients if they choose to enter the voluntary program. Qualified patients and caregivers often want cards to show proof of their status, avoiding possible detainment, seizure or arrest by law enforcement.

Dan Hansen letter: Thanks for support of KidCare event
On behalf of the Fargo Police Department, we would like to thank all the families who brought their children to the KidCare Photo ID event on April 22 at West Acres Shopping Center. More than 1,250 children were identified during the process and approximately another 150 ID cards were handed out after the event.

Cedar Hills Kids Day promotes safety
Children on Saturday were also given a copy of their fingerprints and photo ID cards listing important personal information and distinguishing marks, said chiropractic physician Bill Lawler.
