2:37 AM
The student ID card, which most students obtain during their Day on Campus, might be one of the most important pieces of identification, according to Wayne Hilt."I suggest that students treat it like their drivers' license," said Hilt, who is the card services manager. "There's a $20 replacement fee and without it, students might find it hard to survive."The student ID card, which displays a student?s name, identification number, classification and picture, has many functions, making the card a necessity for Purdue students. The ID card allows students to use many University facilities ? like the libraries, the Recreational Sports Center, CityBus and the residential dining halls. The ID card also has the ability to serve as a debit card once students sign up for a BoilerExpress account.
