CR-80 ID Card Dimensions
CR-80 style ID cards are thin and durable, made from plastic or PVC. At approximately 3.4 inches wide, 2.15 inches long and .030 inches thick, CR-80 cards are thin enough to fit in a wallet, yet sturdy enough to withstand the external pressures of everyday use. Most ID card printers use CR-80 cards as the standard PVC card size.
CR-80 style cards are the most common choice for a wide variety of industries and card applications – from a simple single-sided photo IDs, to a secure access control cards with smart card features and holographic overlaya.
Because they slip easily into a wallet CR-80 ID cards are the ideal size for credit cards and other cashless payment cards. For applications where ID cards need to be displayed at all times, such as office buildings and schools, CR-80 ID cards fit well in ID badge holders.
