For the most current Magicard Rio model, consider the Magicard Rio 2e, which succeeded the Magicard Rio 2. This card printer series produces high resolution, full-color images in 20 seconds on one side of a plastic card. If you prefer to print one-color cards, the Rio 2 produces one monochrome card every 6 seconds. It also encodes contact smart chips, which are ideal for ID badges that double as access cards, employee time cards and more! You may also opt to include Ethernet connectivity, which allows any authorized user on your network to print cards.

All Magicard printers add a standard hologram pattern to the face of every card, but you may purchase the Magicard custom key to create a custom hologram for your specific organization. The custom key may also be turned into a printer lock so that no one may print unless the key is present.
